1. Paediatrics - Urine Analysis Microscope
We have developed a microscope system for the early diagnosis of urine infection in paediatrics. This system has been pioneered and tested by Dr M Coulthard (Consultant Paediatric Nephrologist) at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Newcastle.
It enables a quick diagnosis and the results can be linked to a video monitor for teaching purposes. It is a cost effective system when compared with the cost of sending samples to Microbiology.
2. GUM
We have developed a microscope system tailored for the quick analysis of GUM related conditions. It is suitable for wet and dry preparations and has phase contrast.
These microscopes are well tried and tested in hospitals and private laboratories and are cost effective. For syphilis identification we have a darkground microscope system to identify spirochetes.
